Neediest Kids is proud to be the new host charity for the local stop of the PGA Nationwide Tour. The Neediest Kids Championship presented by UnderArmour includes a full four-day golf tournament, multiple Pro-Ams, parties, a high school invitational, clinics, and many other fun-filled activities.
The Nationwide Tour is the official proving ground of the PGA Tour. The Nationwide Tour features 26 tournaments in 2011 played across the U.S. and abroad. The Nationwide Tour identifies those players who are ready to compete and win on golf’s greatest stage. Two out of every three PGA Tour players have Nationwide Tour roots, and Nationwide Tour alumni have amassed more than 315 PGA Tour titles, including fourteen major championships. Nationwide Tour players who have won PGA Tour titles after playing in the Nationwide Tour include Keegan Bradley, Jhonnatan Vegas, Gary Woodland, D.A. Points, Martin Laird, Brendan Steele, Scott Stallings and Chris Kirk.
